Statement by the Media department of the Democratic Autonomous-Administration

To all journalists,
To all media outlets,
At a time when the regions of North and East Syria are subjected to an ongoing war and continuous aggression, and in the face of barbaric and illegal attacks, there is another, equally dangerous war being waged. This war seeks to undermine the morale of our people, destabilize their resolve, and strike at their faith in their military forces and their democratic project.

In the face of these challenges, we highly appreciate the national and responsible role played by our journalists in conveying the truth, uncovering facts, and confronting campaigns of misinformation and distortion. This role reflects the high national spirit, as well as the ethical and professional commitment that media workers uphold.

We emphasize the necessity of continued collaboration in media efforts and joint work to ensure that our media reflects the truth, free from the lies promoted by some paid media outlets. This work should be grounded in the principles of media professionalism and national responsibility.

In conclusion, we renew our gratitude and appreciation to you, and we highly value the spirit of free and truthful journalism that you represent. We wish you continued success and good fortune in your media mission.
