Internal Security Forces Reveal the Toll of Martyrs and Injuries Due to Attacks on Sheikh Maqsoud and Ashrafiya Neighborhoods

The Internal Security Forces – Aleppo revealed that 3 civilians were martyred and 11 others were injured as a result of the attacks on the Sheikh Maqsoud and Ashrafiya neighborhoods, according to a statement.
The statement read:
“The toll of civilian martyrs has risen due to the indiscriminate artillery and rocket shelling launched by Damascus government factions on the Sheikh Maqsoud and Ashrafiya neighborhoods to 3 martyrs, including two women, and 11 injured in an initial report.”
The shelling continues, with the use of drones, in addition to direct sniper operations and heavy weapons fire, putting the lives of civilians at risk on a daily basis.
The continuation of these attacks on densely populated residential areas is considered a gross violation of international humanitarian law and constitutes a clear war crime targeting defenseless civilian populations.
